While the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event in Barcelona is around the corner, some of the products it is going to launch are making headlines. Also, on the buzz is LG’s upcoming premium watch. Namely LG Watch Urbane, the world’s first LTE watch will be something worth a ‘watch’ on MWC.lg-watch-urbane-the-world's-first-lte-watchSoon after it decided to announce LG Watch Urbane, the manufacturers further added that the watch will indeed sport LTE band network in order to provide faster internet functionality. Surprisingly, it is not an Android device. LG is introducing its own proprietary wearable platform on these watches.

The LG Watch Urbane has a stainless steel body with lesser bezel than its predecessor. It comes with options of leather straps and various designs of metal chains. Its classy texture and appealing color options surely fools anyone for a real mechanical watch. Honestly, it is not any different in appearance with regular ones.lg-watch-urbane-the-worlds-first-lte-watch

“LG Watch Urbane, the world’s first LTE watch”, as claimed by the Korean manufacturing company, will be at its handiest on paying bills, translating foreign speeches, chatting – walkie talkie style, and making calls from your wrist among others. It is further packed with sensors like accelerometer, heart rate monitor, compass, gyroscope, and atmospheric pressure senses. Enough feature to analyze your hand movement while playing Baseball, isn’t it?

The premium watch has three buttons on the same side. The top key will allow you to go frequently through settings, the middle one allows you to switch between various watch modes, whereas the last button will help you reach back the previous menu. The watch can easily resist dust and water due to its IP 67 rating.

As of the information revealed until now, the watch will be available in two model variations LTE and non LTE versions. They are named ‘LG Watch Urbane LTE’ and ‘LG Watch Urbane’ respectively.lg-watch-urbane-the-worlds-first-lte-watch
