HTC One M9 is making its debut in Q1 2015 and rumours are flying in like crazy. As you would expect from a flagship smartphone, HTC One M9 is rumoured to come with Android Lollipop 5.0 out of the box. It will also be the first HTC-made phone to come with 3GB of RAM. Will HTC One M9 shine or will it be just another flop from HTC?
HTC One M8 by no means was a bad phone. It had an awesome 5″ Full HD Display, top-of-the-line Snapdragon 801 CPU and 2GB of RAM. But the phone had major flaws which made me not recommend it to other. One being the camera experience and other being its battery. The 4MP or ultra-pixel as HTC calls is shit. I know it’s not a good word to use but why in the world didn’t HTC learn from people that people want more resolution, not bigger pixels.
HTC One M9 is expected to come with Snapdragon 805 CPU, 3GB of RAM and again, 4UP camera. Three times in a row? Seriously, HTC is being arrogant. The only reason I didn’t get the M8 was because of its 4MP camera. I had no room to crop my image far go zooming while taking a phone.
All 2015 flagship phones are expected to come with Snapdragon 810 64-bit processor and HTC will stick with Snapdragon 805 CPU, the rumours suggest. If really so, I doubt many people will actually purchase it. Also, the phone is rumoured to come with 5.5″ QHD display. Doesn’t anyone else think 5.5″ is a little too big for general people. Some may argue that LG G3, being a flagship phone comes with 5.5″ screen but the fact that LG uses extremely thin bezels in their flagship phones cannot be ignored. HTC One M9 with its front-facing stereo speakers is going to look and feel gigantic. The phone will be as big as Samsung Galaxy Note Edge.
Let’s hope that the phone won’t be as flawed as rumoured. Leave down your thoughts down below!
